Latest Updates from Our Project:

Photos of S&S!
about 5 years ago – Tue, Mar 26, 2019 at 11:16:25 PM

Hello everybody -

First, I want to thank you all again for your patience. I know this hasn't been the perfectly run campaign in any way, shape, or form, and there have been way too many delays. All I can do is apologize.

The good news is that the books are printed, they are at our fulfillment center, and here are the photos of the book at the fulfillment center. It took a bit for them to get these to us, so my apologies for that delay as well. It seems like every step of the way, there has been a delay of some sort, some on us, some outside of our control, but nothing about this project has gone smoothly.

Regardless, the books are with the fulfillment center and I'm currently waiting on an official quote to ship everything out. The quote is supposed to be in this week.

I'll update when I know more.

Thank you again!

Printing Update
about 5 years ago – Tue, Feb 12, 2019 at 04:52:16 PM

Hello everybody!

So, our books are finally in the Kraken Print warehouse in Chicago. They are printed and they are in the US. We're working with them about possibly fulfilling the project directly. As soon as we land on a decision, we'll update you guys.

The S&S Omnibus is also wrapped up and should be ready to roll out soon.

The S&S bonus monster folio and adventure are written and edited and in layout.

The S&S comic is written and in art production.

We're trying hard to wrap this up as soon as we can - if anybody wants previews before layout or artwork of any of the bonus material (the comic script, adventure, or monster folio), let me know and I'll be happy to provide it.

We recognize this has been an absolutely ridiculously delayed project. Our communication has been spotty. But, as we've said at ALL times, we will absolutely deliver this project. Those of you who have been patient, THANK YOU. We'll figure out a way to make it up to you all.

As soon as I have an update on shipping, I'll let everybody know.

Thanks!

December Update
over 5 years ago – Wed, Dec 19, 2018 at 01:44:36 PM

Quick update: I'm working on a bit of a career change here and technically this isn't a part of my job anymore, but I will try to update now and again so you guys have something--HOPEFULLY it won't be necessary for long.

I saw in the comments that someone wondered if it was a delay with backlog because of stuff coming in all at once, etc. That is indeed the case. There have been delays with the shipping, the stuff at port with new customs and tariffs needing to be paid, and then with the printer getting them to the warehouse (Outland has something like 6 orders that are there, and other companies have things as well). Right now, from what I understand, the books are between the printer's warehouse and Outland--I'm not positive about the exact status. Communications with the printer have been a little slow. As soon as I hear of a change I will let you know. So, yes, basically, more frustrations. More waiting. Trust me, I really, really wish I could report more to you.

Shipping update from printer
over 5 years ago – Wed, Oct 31, 2018 at 10:13:10 PM

OK, so finally, we have word that the printer is expecting the shipment of books to arrive at their warehouse on or about November 21. They said they will let us know if anything changes or if they get a closer estimate, etc.

Final edits are done on the adventure that Marty Forbeck has written for S&S--I should be posting an excerpt in the next update.

If I hear anything new about the shipping dates, I'll let you know ASAP!

Update 10/16
over 5 years ago – Wed, Oct 17, 2018 at 02:30:24 AM

Just letting you know that we've received the adventure module that was written by Marty Forbeck, and it is in copyedits now. We've also touched base with the folks working on the Pathfinder conversion, and should have that soon as well.

I know there were a few legitimate questions in the comments, I'm going to try to reply to those there unless there is something that has to do with the project as a whole.
